Cranky old bstrd.

Still looks like it would be fun to goof around on for 10 minutes.

Frame too small? No problem, just weld your seatpost into it.

Also doesn't hurt that a lot of jackassery gets posted there hoping someone thinks it's 'rad' or cool.

OK, I realize this post is well over a year old. But I just scrolled through this ENTIRE thread (and laughed my ass off) and nobody mentioned the real problem with this thing. It's held to the seat tube with "molded rubber bands" and it touches the rear wheel. Where would we put the odds that it eventually slips, gets wedged between the wheel and the seat tube, causes the wheel to unexpectedly lock, and makes you wish you opted for the pricier dental coverage?

(ps - hello everybody. This is my first post in fg/ss. Coincidentally my first fixed-gear (cheapy) was just delivered to my house minutes ago and I can't wait to go home and put it together!)

So I got sucked into tumblr and in amongst the throngs of derp machines this bugged me:

Who spends serious $$ getting custom paint & decals and decides to lie about the brand of their wheels?

I wasn't able to get a photo unfortunately, but this bloke was riding what looked like a mountain bike with a BMX rear wheel (SS of course). He was in heavy traffic and sadly, they all missed.

Freak bikes aren't really "jackass" considering they're meant to be wacky. I know a bunch of guys from back in MA that would constantly be trying to outdo each other by making the craziest bikes possible.
