Today some lady decided she needed to slow down enough to make sure I was aware that she considered me a ****ing ******* for riding my bike. I responded in kind and she hit her brakes like she was going to stop and then drove away. If you're going to yell things out of your car at someone, at least have the fortitude to continue the exchange on equal terms.

Also I've decided to print this out and keep a copy of it in my bag.

ive been thinking about doing the same thing but rubberbanding them around baseball sized rocks and throwing them through peoples windows. my better judgement has kept me from doing it so far but its a battle every day.

first day in about a month i haven't ridden.

day off from work to check my body armor and prep my swords for tomorrow's historical rapier tournament where i shall attempt to utilize the techniques of Camillo Agrippa exclusively.

it will be a 6hr car ride with my buddies. making an effort to be less of a recluse.

My plans involved camping an hour drive away, and with no car there ain't no way I'd get to work on time. Oh, and I got Lumberg'd at lunch, so I am indeed getting up tomorrow to work. Woohoo.

Off to go get that six pack now.

Today, I cut the steerer on my new commuter bike.

I learned:

1: Steel tubes are a lot harder on the hacksaw elbow than carbon tubes are.

2: $45 fork tubes are a lot easier on the nerves than carbon tubes are.

Indeed.

A Google search does not relate to approval.
