same thing happened to the bass player for a punk band i was working with.
they dropped off their mixes, and then i couldn't get ahold of them for months!

finally the singer gets back to me and goes "oh, the bass player lost most of his left hand in the chain of his motor cycle"
...thinking the band was done, and they didn't care about finishing the album, the singer continued "we've got a show in a few days, good thing he just plays bass"

/actual bass player jokes

My brother texted me today..."GTA got shipped to my house today, and I have a stupid condo board meeting to go to".

I wouldn't, go with the SA s3x hub, or surly dingle cog and run two chainrings up front if it's fixed you're going with.

Was riding and had my rear bearings seize up. Skidded pretty good and blew out my tire. Fun stuff. Apparently I suck at repacking bearings and adjusting the bearing cones.

Please, please buy it, decide you don't like the colour and offer it to me

$700 eh? Allowing for the Aussie Peso and shipping here, that might still be cheaper than buying it from Greenspeed here ($900 plus shipping).

Dammit, it's a set-up that's soooo appropriate to my needs. I've been looking at having to go back to my geared bike for substantial parts of my riding and it was quite depressing. At least the price is enough to keep me honest for the time being.

Now, OT, what did I do today?
Woke up crooker than yesterday so have another day at home without pay.
Remembered that I actually do have push bikes.
Wrote lots of non-sense on this here forum ... and possibly wrote something that did make sense (hey, I'm crook, I'm allowed to make mistakes).
Oh, yesterday I started a thread that seems to have corrumpted Mumonkan

What? You spent your entire summer polishing chromed instruments and perving on young women?

Kickass.
I used to be a marching band field Marshall/trumpet section leader. Every summer I think about band camp while I'm working in the real world.
