Uggh, I couldn't even imagine dealing with them out there, I just deal with them when I go to/come home from work.
You are my hero, I was googling it for a bit but only found Ritchey MTB ones or Thomson.
Edit : Just kidding, just saw it had no set back and there setback one has a single bolt style.

Today I rode my bike across town to the store and bought some beer.

After that I rode to the mall and bought some movies at FYE. I picked up The Amityville Horror '79, Drag Me to Hell, The Legend of Boggy Creek, and Starship Troopers. Decided to take a different route home and stopped at 711 to grab an herbal tonic Arizona.

Details? I've been looking to build a light for a dyno hub I laced up a while back and was overwhelmed by the LED options and terminology.

I don't know why everyone hates it. I've had 2 BB30 bikes without an issue or creak. One was a CX race bike too.

New-ish bottom bracket standard that is a press-fit, and specs call for loctite.

It gets interesting once the character "Danielle" gets involved. Around page 9.

Heck I even have an adapter in mine. >.>
Not to mention I can practically turn my dogma into a sw33t fixie mang with an eccentric BB.

I can just imagine the people feeding that thread going "BB30?...... BAH HUMBUGGGGggggg".

my experience has been on one bike and was assembled at my local low-tech mom-n-pop bike shop that I have been using for years, so take my opinion for what it's worth.
im confident that high-end roadie shops with appropriately trained mechanics dish out bb30 bikes to customers all the time without problems.
but that's exactly my issue - i don't think the hassle is worth it and hate going to uber ego high end roadie shops. until the technology becomes more widepread and less problematic for every-day mechanics and cyclists its not worth it to me.
ill continue to ride my shimano cranks, thank you very much. dura ace cranks are a thing of aesthetic and functional beauty.
also im an experienced, fit, middle of the road racer whos plenty powerful and i doubt the stiffness and weight advantages of bb30 have ever made a difference for me in a race situation.

Today, I set out to do a 34ish mile loop on my fixed gear bicycle, and long story short, decided to go exploring and ended up doing 53.4 miles. Probably would have just done a metric century if I didn't have to get back and get ready for work. Started riding in early august, and my previous longest loop was 34.3 miles, so I was happy with that. Working towards my first century!

Nice job, anything over 50miles fixed is definitely an accomplishment. My legs burn whenever I do something like that.
