I swear to Merckx I'll start banning people if you bring that BB30 crap in here, haha.
Besides this is ss/fg, we don't have to worry about BB30! So there.
Today I'm working from our office in San Francisco. I want to work here SO BADLY. 10 min commute by bike, nice office, and I'm working with a really awesome team here for a day.

Are they split days, at least (one and two)? I had a job where I had three days off in a row and I would get back to the kitchen and not know where the hell I was. Switched days off with one of the cooks after about a month.

You a cook? My issue with that sched is you miss the two busiest days, thus cutting (from my experience) a good 5 or 6 hours off an already short schedule.

Nope, broke out of the service industry a couple years ago. I do closed captioning for TV broadcasts now and it's still full-time so I'm working 10 hour shifts on the days I do work. Not nearly as demanding physically, but it's a mental burnout.

Today, I set out to do a 34ish mile loop on my fixed gear bicycle, and long story short, decided to go exploring and ended up doing 53.4 miles. Probably would have just done a metric century if I didn't have to get back and get ready for work. Started riding in early august, and my previous longest loop was 34.3 miles, so I was happy with that. Working towards my first century!

today i rode the old croton aqueduct trails and it was generally sweet, riding in the woods is always a good time
except for the fact that the inner part of my brake cable started to pull into the lever body rendering my brake useless right before the fun part of the ride
with said brake no longer functioning my chain dropped on a huge 30 mph hill and i had to tedshred through my fender making a huge disgusting hole in it and ****ing up the mounting clip
and then the granny gear starts slipping
also i can no longer use my phone for a full century post ios7 SpeshulEd

Today I was out riding, headed towards this road I like to sprint and I'm currently 2nd on. This car starts driving really slow beside me seriously 10secs before the segment start, so I look over and this dude throws up two fingers and says "2nd place?!" I laugh and nod. That's when I realized he was the current KOM. It was hilarious and just what I needed to give me some extra gas to steal his crown.
