Uggh, I couldn't even imagine dealing with them out there, I just deal with them when I go to/come home from work.
You are my hero, I was googling it for a bit but only found Ritchey MTB ones or Thomson. Edit : Just kidding, just saw it had no set back and there setback one has a single bolt style. |

Today I washed my body with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap. It made me feel fresh, but it also hurt my junk .

Today I rode my bike across town to the store and bought some beer.
http://i43.tinypic.com/2nk2tzp.jpg After that I rode to the mall and bought some movies at FYE. I picked up The Amityville Horror '79, Drag Me to Hell, The Legend of Boggy Creek, and Starship Troopers. Decided to take a different route home and stopped at 711 to grab an herbal tonic Arizona. |

Details? I've been looking to build a light for a dyno hub I laced up a while back and was overwhelmed by the LED options and terminology.

Today I watched you guys get trolled by some dude asking about a bike check

Yesterday I watched the 41 blow up over BB30. It was quite enjoyable.
|
let's start here too:
screw bb30 (no pun intended) |
I don't know why everyone hates it. I've had 2 BB30 bikes without an issue or creak. One was a CX race bike too.
|
Am I allowed to admit that I have no idea what you're talking about?
|
New-ish bottom bracket standard that is a press-fit, and specs call for loctite.
http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-BB30-is-awful It gets interesting once the character "Danielle" gets involved. Around page 9. |

Heck I even have an adapter in mine. >.> Not to mention I can practically turn my dogma into a sw33t fixie mang with an eccentric BB. :D I can just imagine the people feeding that thread going "BB30?...... BAH HUMBUGGGGggggg". |
square taper for life!
|
I just say yes to all formats.
|
I have a GXP crank but am too scared to get accompanying BB.
Strange new world and all :) |
my experience has been on one bike and was assembled at my local low-tech mom-n-pop bike shop that I have been using for years, so take my opinion for what it's worth.
im confident that high-end roadie shops with appropriately trained mechanics dish out bb30 bikes to customers all the time without problems. but that's exactly my issue - i don't think the hassle is worth it and hate going to uber ego high end roadie shops. until the technology becomes more widepread and less problematic for every-day mechanics and cyclists its not worth it to me. ill continue to ride my shimano cranks, thank you very much. dura ace cranks are a thing of aesthetic and functional beauty. also im an experienced, fit, middle of the road racer whos plenty powerful and i doubt the stiffness and weight advantages of bb30 have ever made a difference for me in a race situation. |
It really doesn't matter. If you install either system correctly, then it'll work fine.
|
Today, I set out to do a 34ish mile loop on my fixed gear bicycle, and long story short, decided to go exploring and ended up doing 53.4 miles. Probably would have just done a metric century if I didn't have to get back and get ready for work. Started riding in early august, and my previous longest loop was 34.3 miles, so I was happy with that. Working towards my first century!

Nice job, anything over 50miles fixed is definitely an accomplishment. My legs burn whenever I do something like that. |
