Are they split days, at least (one and two)? I had a job where I had three days off in a row and I would get back to the kitchen and not know where the hell I was. Switched days off with one of the cooks after about a month.

Yeah I get Friday, Saturday and Monday. I thought it sounded really awesome but it's not really working for me.

You a cook? My issue with that sched is you miss the two busiest days, thus cutting (from my experience) a good 5 or 6 hours off an already short schedule.

Nope, broke out of the service industry a couple years ago. I do closed captioning for TV broadcasts now and it's still full-time so I'm working 10 hour shifts on the days I do work. Not nearly as demanding physically, but it's a mental burnout.

Today I laugh at guys riding in traffic on tri bikes wearing camelbaks.

Good feeling isn't it, extending yourself and finding you enjoyed it. Seeing you only just started riding, beware of extending yourself too quickly but going for a ride and 'getting lost' is an honourable tradition. Go for it my boy :)

today i rode the old croton aqueduct trails and it was generally sweet, riding in the woods is always a good time

except for the fact that the inner part of my brake cable started to pull into the lever body rendering my brake useless right before the fun part of the ride

with said brake no longer functioning my chain dropped on a huge 30 mph hill and i had to tedshred through my fender making a huge disgusting hole in it and ****ing up the mounting clip

and then the granny gear starts slipping

Mine has been very weird, one day I get great battery life, the next day it sucks. I'm sure there'll be a 7.1 update shortly. It seems like they always need to fix battery issues with each update.

ya this morning it ate thru really fast then halfway through the ride it started to go slower but still faster than 6 was. if it had been going the same speed as the second half of the ride it wouldve probably made it

hopefully theres an update and it gets better, though i had a similar problem when i updated my 3gs to ios5 and it just ruined the battery life so i hope that doesnt happen again

Whenever there's an android update, my battery life gets better.

Today I beat the rain at the end of my ride. Take that mother nature!
