^^^of course it's good. Don't worry about it. You sound like you are insecure or mentally unstable with all this ex talk, mate. Love 'em and leave 'em until you find the right one.

I bought new tires and a chain for my bicycle; friend asked me if I wanted to bike to class all this week.
It's been a while since I've cycled, since my car has pretty much taken up all of my time and money.
My body is not ready.

Our cycling team coach has a rule: "Always cover your knees below 65F". The idea is that the cold temps restrict blood flow and can cause discomfort and decreased mobility.

Cold makes me feel like crap, but not my joints specifically.
My coach always yells at me to cover up my legs under a certain temp, even if I don't feel cold.

Fo reals, if I had to cover my knees everyone it was under 65, I'd only be in shorts two months out of the year. I bought some thick booties to help block the wind, anything over five miles and my feet are ice cubes. I was also given a shop key today since I'm always on time during bad weather.

I have been wearing my thinner long legged bibs, since it has been in the mid/high 40s, and still feel it. I don't cover my knees in the 60's at all, but never had problems at those temps either, but maybe I should consider it too, thanks for the tip. I notice it a lot more on the fixed biek than my geared bike but it's there on both.

I think it more comes down to preventing injury than just feeling warm or cold.

Once in college, some friend-of-a-teammate dude from Vermont was visiting during the winter. Our ride started at sub 40F and ended at 45F, and he was in short sleeves. He was totally fine and soupes strong
