Based on this, how many pot head aesthetic vegans are scientists?

Today I started to play with the idea of getting a sturmey archer s3x hub again and think it's going to happen this time. Also picked up a Park AWS-50 and a park cn-10, since I picked up some bearings to replace the made in china bearings in the hubs.

Any IGH design is going to have more wear points and some weak parts, and from what I've read adjustment of the shifting mechanism has to be very precise to prevent missed shifts and a false neutral. Also, there's a ton of slack before it engages when back pedalling. As to durability, someone like you will probably put a lot more stress on it.

That sounds a lot better to me. It's simple and reliable. That's what I would do if my riding conditions were as varied as yours.

46 for big on front 44 for small on front with the 17-19 dingle cog. Should allow for a 73.1 gear inch for the 46x17 and a 62.5 gear inch for the 44x19. I can live with that.

Today (tonight) I went to my first beer tasting. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to attend more in the future.

@Dannihilator - i do love my s3x but it is a bit finicky to adjust, and shifting is not nearly as smooth as a derailleur
mine is geared so direct drive is my normal gear, and the other two gear down for climbing, but i wouldnt recommend doing a lot of hard (skid) backpedaling on it
mine failed and im not quite sure why, i emailed them and they said that heir old shifters could have been slightly off which caused poor shifting and led to failures, but SA was really great with replacing the entire gear insert and shifter for free though which was great
you could try mine out someday if you like, im right over the bridge

Today I found what caused the knee pain, was a cleat that shifted position, also ordered my dingle cog and the 46 and 44 tooth chainrings, while I was out on my road ride, had lunch when I got home and got out for a good street ride on the dmr.

yeah, its about 70 here in Manhattan. The tattoo on my thigh is still a bit fresh and I haven't rode in about 2 months so I only got about 8 miles in before I decided to call it quits. Felt nice though, definitely needed some warm weather to lift the spirits.
