Nice! Love that Neon Zefal. Yeah this one was all commutered out, was Dad's old bike. Flew down with knobbies last time down. Broke a toe clip last time so flew down with one of those this time.

Today I broke the preloadbolt to my 105 crankset, oh well, glad I had a spare no I did not over tighten it.

44 miles today in the warmth. All I have to say is that damn are the roads dirty around here at the moment and I didn't touch a dirt road and it looked like this once done.

im not even gonna clean it till april, just let it keep piling on

destroying my chain though, gotta lube it almost daily

Dannihilator 12-22-13 10:33 PM

Get a thicker chain lube. Every other day I reapply.

Wanna get out on the trails one day? I did a little teaser ride around North Mountain yesterday, would like to do a longer day on trail 100 or other trail sometime between Thursday - Monday.

It was a killer day for riding yesterday. I really gotta figure out a way to go full snowbird all winter, every winter.

When I first moved to the southwest, I thought snowbirds were a soft bunch of sissies. Now I've come to realize that I was wrong, and they were doing it right all along.

I leave Thursday to go to Michigan (brr!) for the weekend. I could do something tomorrow or Wednesday, but I haven't ridden in a while so I'm not very in shape at the moment. I only averaged 16.7mph today on my 30 mile road ride. I've gone soft. It's a great week for riding though, can't be weather in the 70's!

Huffandstuff 12-23-13 07:11 PM

Drove into work for the first time In four years. Driving sucks but at least I got my car legal enough to drive now.

Dannihilator 12-23-13 08:56 PM

Today I put in 42 soggy miles.

Everyone at work asked me if im going to start driving in now, they still don't get how someone can ride a bike for fun.

Gonna be so nice when I get to go bike crater lake this summer.

SpeshulEd 12-23-13 09:38 PM

I don't mind driving, but I also hate it at times, especially to and from work. Commuting helps relieve work stress, driving usually causes rage, at least for me.

spRICE 12-23-13 11:03 PM

Today I started working on a short single track on my parents' property. So far it's really fun to ride on and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner :D.

Got tired of staring at the blank space of where my tv was. Getting closer to a storage "solution", I guess.
