Today (actually last night) I came home from hospital. I rode alone into a village and got threatened by some barking dogs around 12pm, so I tried to ride a bit faster cause they were chasing me.
It was so dark, the road was so narrow and bumpy,I ended up falling down. It was so scary since nobody would be here. I picked up my bike and ran to riverside... Something wet on my head but later I found out it was blood. A hell lot of blood. Very lucky I was beside a 24/7 hospital http://i.imgur.com/rEpEzLg.jpg The bike was good tho! |

Last week while on vacation in Aruba, I entered the Dirty Kanza 200. I then finally purchased my race bike (Kona rove). I still have my Crux Expert incase anyone is looking for one. I totally thought this thing wouldnt stick around long. I then did a training ride yesterday with my DK team, when I got home I had a fever of 101.9. Now I will likely miss the only nice week of weather that kansas will get until March. Message me if anyone needs a 54cm Crux frame or complete.http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/...s1cc84385.jpeg

Me too! But I will be putting them back on soon, I lost a brake pad somehow. I'm too scared to go brake less, complacent drivers, tired legs, laws, etc.

Plus, I hardly ride the thing...it's mostly for just being stupid in the neighborhood. If I'm going more than a few miles, I jump on the roadie. I'm a poser. |
hahaha just bustin' your balls

I should explain myself...I don't have any brakes for riser bars yet, the whole thing is only temporary (especially considering I'm not digging the risers at all).

Yeah, you have a lot of personalities in football, he is an all around good guy but too boisterous at times. He doesnt like the other coach (his old college coach) and Crabtree (SF wide receiver) have issues.
They do and they are awesome. |
And now he is.....another statistic.

I think Sherman is awesome and I don't understand people getting all upset about an entertainer being entertaining.

I didn't really find his childish actions to be entertaining though. His performance on the field, yes. I totally understand the amount of emotion going on, he had just made one of the biggest plays of his career, and is heading to the Super Bowl, then a reporter puts a microphone in his face. And while he isn't paid to be level headed during interviews, he knows that he is a role model and I think he should act accordingly and conduct himself like a professional instead of a hood rat. I'm still rooting for the Seahawks anyway. |
Interesting how no one gives Harbaugh a hard time about the many temper tantrums he has on the sidelines throughout the game... ESPN doesn't spend entire days calling him "classless" and a "thug."
The role model thing matters for like, not doing drugs, driving drunk, or shooting people (something the NFL doesn't seem to be very good at preventing) but not **** talking. It's part of the sport and I kinda wish there were more of it. If **** talking were a big problem with role models and OMG THE CHILDREN, people wouldn't watch WWE. But they do, and let their kids watch it too. I am (was?) a huge football fan but am pulling back from it, not because of some OMG a black man was emotional on TV but because I think the sport has inherent flaws w/r/t brain (and body) injuries that it seems very reluctant to address. I grew up watching the game, I've managed fantasy football teams for over 10 years, but I just can't continue to support it in good conscience. Also haha I just noticed you called him a "hood rat"? Really dude? |
Isn't Michael Vick still playing football? Role models my ass.
|
football is entertaining. i'm not interested enough to follow regularly or keep up on statistics, but ill enjoy watching with a beer if it is on, and I watch most playoff games. hell, I could say that about most sport events on TV.
but im competitive and easy to entertain so take that for what its worth |
