Today I sold that bike of my ex's! Yay. Also sold one window A/C unit, a nice folding/extension ladder, and a shop vac. Oh and earlier this week sold my old hybrid. Just need to sell a lawnmower and a couple more window A/C units tomorrow (new place has central air).

Tonight I checked my bank account online and discovered a bunch of fraudulent charges to my checkcard. This is the third time this has happened in the last 5 years. Had to cancel checkcard, file claim, and go to bank tomorrow to get temporary card until permanent new card arrives in mail. Then I have to update all accounts that auto charge that card and probably transfer more funds into the account to cover auto payments until my SS check gets deposited. Ain't the electronic banking age wonderful !

Anyway, I think it's inevitable that sooner or later your card number gets stolen, no matter how careful you are. My card is never out of my possession, and I rarely use it for online purchases, which are normally by PayPal. So either it got stolen when I swiped it somewhere or some processing center got hacked.

Yeah, I'm weird like that too. I'm also over 2/3rds a century old, or in the metric system 0.678 century-years.

I think we should adopt semi-metric time. Days would still be 24 hours, but make hours 100 minutes and minutes 100 seconds.
Hmmm, maybe full metric time would work...
