I had some quality bike time today: Put on new tires & tuned up the GF's bike. She's now rolling on Michelin Pro 4 25s for that extra cush. Then I treated the Capo to new bearings for the rear wheel & a bigger cog (47x18).

After all that I put my winter junk into storage.

Last night I got a ticket for running a red light, while biking (1 500 SEK ~ $230).

Today, I'm still pissed about it.

Tonight I am going to round 2 & 3 of the NFL draft. Never been before, this is a deep draft so I'll still be seeing talent picked.

After getting off work at around 12:40, drinking and random Netflix surfing I've stumbled apon heavy metal. Watching now! One of my childhood movies next to Brazil and bladerunner.
so awesome

Spent the last couple of days at the co-op which was pretty cool. Working on old bikes is an experience.

Today, I went to the beginner session at Hellyer. Hooked bars during a bumping exercise, and went down. Only going 10-13 mph, so other than a tiny scrape on my knee, glove getting a little torn up, and my bar tape getting a little scuffed, nothing bad.

Today I sold $800 worth of random parts at the Brooklyn Bike Jumble. Several friends stopped by, the weather was great except for a thunder storm at the end of the day. The only downside: I didn't score a single sweet deal of my own!

thanks! We finished two hours ago and are heading home in a friend's van. It was one hell of a ride. During the final twenty miles to the last checkpoint, before dawn, we were going along the coast and Milkyway was visible above. After dawn, twenty miles to the finish, I caught sight of some whales, the Channel Islands were clear in the distance, and then we saw a ghost bike I don't feel like a zombie like I did last year

The Route

Good stuff! hairnet.

I went to the race in downtown Sacto today. I stood for three hours in the baking sun at 20m to go, my head was sticking over the rail in the course whilst almost catching a mouth full of handle bars. It was sweet. Stage 2 is 5 miles away from my house should be equally as fun.
