found out I'm heading down to Charlotte with a friend next weekend (the 7th).
Gonna try to get a short ride in, any NC guys wanna recommend a part of the city that is cool to ride in or has decent architecture and sights to see?

We'll be riding at like 8 or 9 in the morning.

Today (last night) I took Scrod's trash bike to the beach to have some beers and watch the sun set. While I was sitting there all of a sudden PFFFSSSSSSSSsssssttt, rear flat. It was literally just sitting there and flatted. Further proof that I just get flats for no reason at all.

we have a bar downtown that seems to be the common factor in a lot of people having nights you described.
I don't know if they use some type of cheap alcohol or put something in their liquor to make it go further, but I've gone from tipsy to blacked out from one drink. Happened to several friends of mine, pretty crappy thing to experience.

Got my bike dialed in for Dirty Kanza 200 on Saturday. Re-tensioned the new Industry Nine Ultralite wheels after breaking them in at Alamzno. Im ready for a long day of suffering. If I finish im going to chill out on the gravel scene til september. Hopefully Ill build up a Krampus or MTB.

Specialized disappoints me today. I went to buy an Echelon II helmet from my LBS and they didn't have the green color I wanted. Specialized is out of stock until July so my LBS couldn't even order it. City Grounds has it in stock but will not ship because of Specialized rules against online sales of their products. So now I will have to either wait or buy a different brand.

Also wanted to get my CAAD10 fitted but I don't feel like spending $200 on a fit from my LBS.

this is awesome...protects the lbs from online "retailers" that sell out of a garage....can't get mad at a company that stands behind their retailers. get a prevail, anyway...it's a better helmet.

Except specialized doesn't stand behind their retailers. They step on them.
