Wasn't today but Monday night. Me and my roommate got jumped by three people from behind. Fun stuff. I still hurt.

That sucks, hope you got a couple of swings in.

Nope, they came from behind and hit us in the backs of our heads then attacked once we where down then bounced. Two of them jumped me and the other my friend.

Koolstop ceramic green pads are absolutely the worst pads I've ever used. Hands down.
If being excessively powdery is bad enough, the powder is white, sticky and smears when you try to wipe it off.

It is so bad, it is caked on the presta valve stem; on the side that revolves towards the maintubes.

Have a 110 mile charity ride I'm doing on a track bike with buddies coming up, can't decide if I'm gonna do it on risers or not. Also, screw gtb and their tiny drop outs, I don't have enough room to run two cogs.

Cleaned the house, listed a few things on ebay.

I have to go to work in a couple hours, even though Im only working a 6 hour shift and figured my boss wouldve just let me stay home since its snowing out. Nope. Bleh.

Made some progress on my Look KG96 project -- just need to polish the alum parts and install the new headset when it gets here!

Do the whole ride with a 120mm stem slammed with - 20° with track drops. Be a boss.

And without a seat, just a "bum stick".

Not going for maximum street cred, just questioning if mild discomfort is worth switching bars on a quill stem.

Bought a Trek 660... total impulse buy that I could barely afford. It's one of my dream bikes, though. It marks my first foray into vintage steel :)

If it doesn't fit Portland has a VERY strong bike resale market, especially with some old steel, shimano 600, and bits of campy record. With what I paid via best offer, I bet I could even make some money.

Now I have to play the waiting game!
