Look up gmo's, it's kind of a big deal right now.

GMOs are awesome. People need to be less afraid of science.

ecological damage from GMOs?
Thats never gonna happen. |
Those poor neon fish will be shunned in their native habitat when someone dumps them into a lake.

That's called evolution.
Get it together. |

Keep your bikes out of my politics.
Today I'm finally caught up at work and will be installing the new headset on the redline. Tomorrow will be singlespeed singletrack shenanigans. Very excited. |
today i learned what galloning was.
the internet is a weird place. |
My first car was a '95 Cherokee. Loved that thing (hated the gas mileage tho.) Her name was Orca because there was a belt that would squeal like a killer whale any time the A/C was on. The steering wheel would shimmy violently if you hit 85, which was as high as the speedometer went anyway.
Wasn't 4wd though, not sure what the deal is with even MAKING Cherokees w/o 4wd. I bought it in Texas where it didn't matter, then moved to Chicago where the bad city mileage, largeish size, and no 4wd didn't make no sense. Sold it for cash (like literally a wad of bills) to my apt building maintenance man. Thats when I got my Mazda3 which I also lurv. http://eduncovered.com/wp-content/up...-story-bro.jpg Also the "but other things people do are bad for the environment" is a pretty specious argument. And, while electricity to power electric cars may (or may not) come from fossil fuels, it's easier to control pollution at the source than in millions of individual combustion engines on the road in varying states of repair and modern technology. This is not to say there aren't issues with batteries and such; it's just stupid to throw out those issues as if they are equivalent without doing the engineering/physics/math/climate science. |

Yeah for black steel wheels and AT tires.
Here's mine: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s...a7edb55164.jpg My 94 truck gets about 40 miles a month on it. My brother's 13 Lexus 350 gets about 1200/month. Which is the most enviro friendly?? |

Today I had a cool last day at my internship, then as I got home my boss calls me to ask if I wanted a full time job for the summer.

http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view6/274...ay-flail-o.gif Today was another mtb ride but with a group of more experienced riders. I climbed faster than them but lagged on the descent. I'm more exhausted from the descent than anything because I'm on a rigid frame and it was fast, rough, and mildly terrifying. This additional danger is kind of addictive. Been sleeping it off. |
