I've been to some great weddings.

My friend had a rowboat full of ice with all the clams, oysters, crawfish, shrimp, crabs legs and lobster claws you could eat. Towards the end they opened up two large doors to reveal the "Viennese room" with every kind of desert you could ever imagine. Of course the wedding gift should at least cover the cost of the food but still, it was good.

Spanish weddings can be a blast. That's where I first started to dance Salsa.

That sounds insanely expensive. I'm starting to think about all that myself, and we will likely go for something more moderate. We're both more interested in a down payment on a house :)

Hopefully that includes some serious garage space for bike storage and repair :)

Smart man! The wedding that TimothyH went to sounds like a blast, but for people like my wife and me, simple, inexpensive weddings are the best (and everyone involved appreciates not being part of a days-long grueling affair.)

Not to hate on fancy weddings either - @TimothyH those sound like great experiences. We went to a (cousin's) wedding in Napa Valley in May that was astounding. Much of the Marriot was booked up for the wedding. We stayed at the Motel 6 across the street.

Foul.

We are easy targets though and after 2000 years are quite used to it.

motrheadsroadie 07-21-17 01:18 PM

youve experienced something for 2000 years?

seau grateau 07-21-17 01:28 PM

...Right.

This is going to get ugly quick. Please keep P&R (Politics and Religion) out of the forums. If you want access to the P&R subforum please PM me.

The lower portion of the clamp may just be installed the wrong way. Try turning it around.

Just went on a 30 minute, sunset MTB "Suburban Assault" ride, through a local community college grounds, park, and surrounding neighborhoods. Sessioned some techy concrete bits, hit a couple drops/jumps, hammered up hills, rode no-handed and generally just goofed off. Wearing a helmet (ofc), spd shoes, gym shorts and an old white T. Good times.

This morning I rode for 3 hrs surrounding the Swamis "A" ride. I felt good and it was nice to catch up with some of the N. County guys.

Thanks Scrod. No luck, though. Gonna have to buy a new bolt and washer, and then probably trim down the washer to fit the unusually narrow slot.

Forgot to post yesterday - late entry.

12.22 AM - left for 22.1 mile solo ride
7:00 PM - left for 47.3 mile ride (15 miles with a co-worker who is just starting out)

No wonder I slumped over last night at the computer before 11:30 PM.

50voltphantom 07-24-17 09:48 AM

Racing 70 miles of gravel last weekend in high temps kinda left me cracked all last week. Gonna take a couple days off.

seau grateau 07-24-17 11:42 PM

Had a good session at the track, rode fast a lot, turned left many times.

TMonk 07-25-17 12:06 PM

Glad you enjoyed it seau grateau.

I'm skipping track tonight (and my 1 hr ride this morning) because I'm too busy at work. Taking F-M off for a vacay and I'm feeling stressed about everything at work. Stupid work!!!!!!!

Or more accurately, stupid type-A personality :)
