Rad, bud! I never got into Amebix, but Nausea is utterly raw power.
I would LOVE to see Choking Victim live. About a decade ago, I loves me some Crack RockSteady. Leftover Crack was supposed to play in my town and have a couple of my friend's bands open for them, but they ditched out last minute, so it ended up being just another local punk show, none-the-less, it was groovie! It ended up being the "**** Leftover Crack" show. lol.
Rad! I also dig me some Ravi shankar. Seems you are right, we probably do have a decent amount in common.
Yeah. I haven't heard much Evans, but I have liked what I have heard. They are nice and mello jello tunes.
I don't care what we may have in common with Nazi boneheads. They don't wanna give you freedom or understanding, so why give them ours.

The Evens, are a bit indie-ish but really good solid band and something a bit different. Baritone guitar and drums and some vocals simple but swell.

We probably have a lot in common, bikes, music and possibly other stuff. I figure probably 99.99% of people can have something in common even one of those White Power dipheads and Nelson Mandela (yes I know he has passed) but the problem is a lot of people don't want to admit it and embrace. We are all humans here so there has got to be something we can share aside from being alive and if we did, maybe just maybe we could all get along and have better lives.

Today I rode a full suspension mountain bike for the first time. Flat pedals. Santa Cruz Bronson.

Riding the thing in a straight line on level ground made sense but I was completely confused otherwise.

Stand up and the sag feels like the bike just broke in half. No foot retention scared me to death. The thing bobs up and down at high cadence. Handlebars can't fit between stuff. Then I tried that other lever and whoops!, the saddle went down. Wasn't expecting that. I was trying to ride it hard on the trails and my neighbor who owns it was laughing like, "Dude, what are you doing?"

But the brakes. :love: 200mm rotors are heaven. The first time I touched the lever I was like, "Whoa! Ha ha. F-Yeah!!!" Thought I was going OTB a few times.

The battery is clearly bad - goes from 60% to 1% in an instant and when plugged in jumps back up to 40%. Apple won't budge. The serial number isn't on their list. All they will do is give me the address of the nearest Apple authorized repair facility.

A Motorola or Pixel is probably in my very near future.

The Bronson is a holy-grail enduro style bike for sure. I have a buddy that loves his. Also you should be riding spd's! With your fitness and proclivity for speed you would appreciate going faster when there is pedaling involved.

So yesterday on a short ride on my Peugeot, I got hit by a truck going a low rate of speed. 2 cracked ribs, one broken all the way through, bruised lung and a broken lumbar to top it off. Love hemophilia. . . lol, does a body good!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I made sure to build up a good deficit by riding my Wabi Classic for three hours with a spirited pace for some portions. I rode my big gear of 42/15. Other side of the hub has a 17.

I agree, that would be epic... CV and LoC are both good, but I've heard rumors that their front man Stza is a huge tool bag.

Yeah, I could totally see Stza being a total junky tool bag. when they wete supposed to play here he said he "broke his arm" last minute and then all footage of him talking or doing music soon after his wrist was fine. I figured he just broke(off a needle into) his arm so we cant blame the poor baby.
Alright. they wanna give my hemophiliac asd bloodthinners on top of my clotting factor so they are sending me to UCSF Or Davis pretty soon because I trust a hemophilia treatment center to take care of my hemophilic issues rather than a hopstickle who has no idea what they're doing.

Today I'm loading up on carbs at a small Italian place in North Georgia. Going on a 5 hour mountain bike/gravel ride in the Cohutta Mountains. The Cohuttas are a wilderness area with 37,000 acres, made famous as it is a training grounds for Tour de France riders. It will be a tough ride, but it is a breathtakingly beautiful place. This has been on my bucket list for 2 years, and is the last hurrah before kid #3 in 2 weeks!

Stza's always been nice to me and I know someone who has known him for a while (she lived in NYC and Jersey for a bit) and has said nothing but good things about him. In spite of my stupid wrist that decided to go and break on me, I've managed to keep my goal of riding every day. Lately, I usually only get an easy 3 to 7 miles around the neighborhood, but some days I fit in a longer cruise. Today I was off work and the weather was nice, so I did 17 miles on my Steamroller. It was a great Thanksgiving Friday activity.

Today I rode in the Cohutta Mountains in north Georgia. It is used as a training grounds for the riders in the Tour de France team. The ride was only 22 miles, but the first 2 hours were hills. Once I hit the peak, it took almost a half hour to descend. This was an organized ride, so there were about 30 other people crazy enough to do this in the rain. Got point values for each location on the map we found, and they gave us raffle tickets for each point. Wound up getting about $200 of stuff: Clif bar jersey and bib shorts, a Bell Sixer MIPS helmet, and a water bottle.

I found a trainer at the local co-op for $18. Little dirty but it spins nicely! Been wanting one for a while and could only find them for $60+ on Craigslist. I’m sure I’ll find a deal on rollers one day and upgrade. Now all I need is to find a good deal on a used work stand

One of the local shops trusts me enough by now to let me rummage around their inventory room, which is nice because they have a lot of stuff you would never see otherwise. Found a ‘neo chrome’ chain I’ve been eyeing online for a while. Good bike day

yeah I’m sure it was Stza, it was one of those stories of a girl claiming he had taken advantage of her while she was drunk at a show (poor decision making, but doesn’t justify) and then several more came forward with the same sort of claims. I never took it for face value, like I said I don’t know him personally and would never judge someone on pure hearsay without necessary proof.

Today was a good day. I slept in, and hopped on my new trainer for a couple hours while watching a movie. Then I went over to a cute girls house and we went on a bike date. Rode to a local park that also has a zoo and had a great little picnic. Let her German Sheppard puppy (3.5 months old) chase the ducks around the pond, and play with the bigger dogs in the dog pen. They were pretty rough and the poor pup got scared. As we were walking back to the bikes the African lions started their end of evening roars. Pretty epic way to end the week.
