Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I see the resemblance, but not quite sure if it's a clone. That chainring comes polished as well and it's 180g heavier than the miche's.

found these cool looking coloured wheelsets on ebay UK. they're cheap for wheelsets. £89/$138.73 for the wheelset with tyres or just £59/$91.97 for the wheelset without tyres. just thinking is it gonna be crap quality for so cheap, weight doesnt matter to me. Not sure what to think about this one: 2014 Serenity Marvel s Track Bike 57cm Carbon | eBay

It ended earlier today, and was immediately listed again. Ended at $4050 and shows as sold on my eBay app on my phone but the same seller listed it again, same pics and description again.

Bikes: 56cm IRO Mark V

Anyone know anything about these old ussr bikes? USSR Record Track Frame 58 cm
The company seems to be called Record. Are they durable? Do they have track geometry?

I've heard they are, like everything from the Soviet Union, heavy but durable. Quality looks like nothing above mid-range from the photos. I think you're mostly paying for the oddball factor.

Is it heavier than an IRO Mark V? cause that's what I'm currently riding.

So, a 53cm frame is sized for little children ? I guess I must be a baby, then.

From the ad:

Over $2500 invested in the bike altogether.
Looks like he's trying not to lose his shirt compared to what he has into the bike.

Right, I saw that. Is this bike worth that? I have no idea because I am not into that style of fixed gear.

Also, wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Jack thread: Fixie <---that brake? WTF?
