Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What are you talking about? A bit pricy yes, but the opposite of ugly.

Not listed at least. I'd bet if you got the cranks you could get an artist to match the design though onto other parts.

Is this actually a Fuji Classic?

New w/ box 2014 Fuji Classic Fixie track road bike CAN BE DROPPED OFF

Looking at pictures of other 2014s nothing about this looks right, especially for a 1 month old bike. No decals, cranks look wrong, wheels look wrong, obviously bars/brakes are wrong, fork is wrong and even the head tube looks wrong.

Your suspicions are correct. Not a fuji.

From the looks of the pictures, it was probably crashed during a triathlon and the rear fork probably cracked. But I don't get why he tried to DIY a $4,400 frame....At that price just get it professionally done.

Hey guys... I've been in the market for a SS commuter for bouncing around my neighborhood, going to the tavern, restaurants, etc. and stumbled on this Masi Uno:

It's my size and the wheels are from a Bianchi Pista Sei Giorni. Looks like a couple of other upgrades as well. He's asking $450 OBO on it. I talked to him via text briefly and he said he was flexible on the price.

Decent for a cheap beater that I can upgrade a little at a time?

For what it's worth, my only other local options are State Bicycle Co. and I could always order in a Kilo, I guess (which is what I figure most people will tell me to do). But dang... I love those Bianchi wheels.
