Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? It's that cinelli caliedo tape. It looks sweet.

The fork is a profile design BRC. One inch, threaded. Got a build that should be done by Friday. Y'all'll see.

Job is cool, yeah.

I just got a Tubus Duo and Cargo Evo racks for my touring bike. The whole set up is about 6 oz lighter than just my Surly Nice Rack in the rear and just as strong. I will post pix of them mounted when I get a chance.

How is that Velo Orange stuff? I've never seen any of that gear up close, but have wondered about it.

It's excellent and very reasonably priced. I have a Grand Cru large setback seatpost for my Brooks Pro saddle and a set of their Grand Cru PBP track wheels. I also bought a VO tourist bar and a pair of brake levers for my inexpensive townie project. It's cheaper to buy their stuff from Retrogression than from VO directly.
