I went with cheap (appr $9) tape to get some practice before I get a Gilles Berthoud saddle with matching tape later this year or next spring. I don't really like cork tape, but it's very similar to what's already on the stock Wabi bars, so at least I know what I'm getting. I have no idea as to the relative merits of cheap and expensive cork tape however.

People keep posting things locally for ridiculous prices and I can't help myself. In the last two days I've picked up an enve seatpost, ritchy/cadence stem, and cinelli mash bullhorns all for about a 1/3rd of their regular price.
