Track Grips?
So I'm loving my new Fyxation Eastside. Lots of fun to ride. This is my first set of bullhorns, and the bike came with a set of track grips. I love the feel of the grips, but they leave me holding bare metal when I'm braking. What do people do when running track grips? Just leave bare metal up top. Bar tape on top?

On another note, the saddle is a bit too small for my sit bones. I love my B17 on my gravel grinder, but think that the B17 would be a bit much when leaned over on the ends of the bullhorns. What's your recommendation in a Brooks for a wide butt and aggressive riding position? Maybe the Team Pro Classic? Swallow? Hold out for he Cambium C15?

^^What he said.
You don't have brakes on the track, so it's not really an issue there.
And I personally would just deal with not having grips when I brake. I ride on the un-wrapped/un-gripped parts of my bars fairly often, it's not really a big issue. If you're gonna be covering the brakes constantly, bullhorns might not be for you, get some risers.

It's not a huge issue. The bare bars were just making my hands cold. :-)

Ten bucks or so gets you Origin8 long grips. Nice and grippy.

Trim them to your required length with a bread knife and wet the insides before trying to slip them on.
About your saddle, it looks kinda forward tilted which may make it impossible for your sit bones to settle in.

If the B17 is comfy why not try the C17? It's the same width but with a sporty profile.
I can tell you that the Swallow feels WAY narrower than a B17. When I go from my road bike to my beach cruiser it feels as if I have landed on a huge sofa in comparison.
