Bikes: track bikes, etc

Add Suzue ProMax Hubs and you have a party.

i really should, but i think i might roll a little swankier than the suzue on this ride. since it has a sealed octalink (njs approved) bottom bracket in it, i may roll deep with the totally-********-expensive dura ace drivetrain. i'm definitely going to go nitto with the seatpost, stem and bars, but the hubs have yet to be determined.

I bought a frame off eBay that was shipped from The Netherlands. I didn't have to pay anything other than shipping.

Nice, enjoy. I guess that's what the translator means by "reservation end". You should give the octalink a shot, when I switched to that stuff on my road bike it felt much stiffer than the square taper.

Ceya, I agree. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that these frames are custom made for individual riders, so you're less likely to see really standard sizinig, ie 58x58...

I've had the best luck with the google translator as well.

"5{Q: drac_vamp stated "has this been covered before: price for hatta bb and headset in japan? used? new?"

A: Almost the same as in the states for new used depends on condition.

Go to goole and put in that name E frame bank then it states to translate this page.

Q: luckycat stated,
Yeah, but not too many. Also pay close attention to the seat and top tube sizes, some of them are a little weird. Like the 59cm gold Vivalo(#5901), the seat tube is 595 and the top tube is 525, maybe the 79.5 degree seat angle has something to do with it.

A: Like most people of the world some people have short torsos. Some are made with mistakes also. some do have steep angles .like the one I show Fixed Not Broken that had a 80 seat tube angle.

That's gonna be pretty hard, even the 59 they have on there right now only has a 59cm seat tube and a 55.6 top tube.

I'm in Japan so my circumstances are a little different than most of ya'll. I bought a frame last week. from initial email to Shinji to delivery was less than a week. frame is sweet. great condition. good pack job. only complaint was it listed 27.2 as the seatpost diameter when it is actually 27.0 - no biggie.

this is the one I bought:

Copycat. I requested the same paintjob from Tanabe-san. Pearl white with red. Glad I'm moving to Boston and not NY. Maybe I should get the fork crown engraving as well. Oddly enough he emailed me earlier today about it.

Very nice.
