Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Lighten up, Francis. No one's insulting you, just busting your balls.

I used to think that looks were very superficial and anyone who worried about color obviously didn't know enough to worry about the important stuff. I was WRONG. I discovered I was wrong when I got a brown car. I didn't like the color but I thought, "who cares." I hated that car and it was the color that caused my hatred. When you own something important and expensive (like a bike or car) you need to feel good about it, like you have a connection to it. If the color isn't right, it's like playing a guitar that is slightly out of tune. You need to have colors that are in tune.

I think the main point everyone's driving at is that it's kind of silly to poll a group of strangers to decide what color you should paint your brown car. Personally, I vote cerulean.

Bikes: ones with two wheels

gold chains look sweet till you ride them. plus why not just go with a good ole silver. it wont clash.

Silly, bikes aren't for riding. They are for posting pictures online and having at the coffee shop.
