Yes. My riding buddy and I rode 35 miles on a cloudy, windy morning with temps around 60 degrees. First morning in a while we had to start using base layers, knee warmers, and long sleeve jerseys. I hate having to wear all these clothes. It's always hard to figure out what to wear. When it's hot it's a no brainer. The 10 mph wind wore us down going out but was a godsend coming back home. We are lucky to just ride out of our driveway to this beautiful rural country side. We have seen the crops planted and now they are harvesting peanuts and cotton. No traffic!!

28 miles yesterday in cold and strong wind. Always hard to get used to the cold these first few cold days. Don't know if I ever get too used to it.

Did 25 miles yesterday. A little cool. The high was ~65F. I took my mini-digital camera to take some fall foliage pics but the leaves haven't started turning very much. Fall colors will be late this year. And with the drought we've had for the past 3+ years it may not be very pretty.
It's supposed to be a few degrees warmer today (68F?) so I'll be riding out to Stone Mountain right after lunch.

Beautiful crisp autumn morning ride. We got in 40 miles by lunchtime. Had enough clothes on to be comfortable and never had to peel anything off. Will have a hard time getting much of a ride in next week with the time change.

22 Miles today with my wife and a friend of ours. First ride for my wife since Mid September when she had a pretty hard crash whill riding The Silver Comet. My first ride in about 30 days.
First half of the ride was fun. Last half it got windy, cooler and started raining. Yuk!

Hammered out my usual 43 miles up in the Brushies this morning, then went to Kerr Scott Dam for the Giant bicycle demo ride trailer event.
Hammered out another 37 miles on one of their TCR carbon bikes. Very fast bike; makes my 24lb lugged steel Bianchi seem like a riding a sled - a heavy sled. Was having so much fun I grabbed one of their top model TCR demo race geometry bikes as soon as I got back from the first test ride, and hammered out another 12 miles.
Man, I gotta get me one of those......lightweight, rocket-fast, carbon fiber bikes.
