Oh, and the rack is trashed but it's just as well cause I refuse to ever use a roof rack ever again. Just needed to vent a little as the fiance and daughter cannot understand my torment.
Replacing bike parts (and possibly the entire 4 month old bike) because I'm an idiot........priceless.:o -Erik |

That is an excellent idea. Well, it's gonna be a trunk rack or hitch mount for me from now on. I just can't trust myself anymore:o

VERY stable rack and adjustable. I manage to fit both cars and 4 bikes in our tiny two car garage, I still marvel at the accomplishment:D |

I picked up this Terry 45cm 8 speed Campy Ergo for one of my business clients. (thanks Craigslist) She is a cancer survivor and wants to get onto a road bike and drop some of the weight she has gained from the inactivity.
This bike is in really really good shape, with some minor garage rash. Original tires too. The Ergo shifts beautifully. I really just cleaned it up and tightened up the rear spokes and trued the rear wheel. Needs a new seat, some new Ergo brake hoods and the fork needs to be spread slightly. The front wheel doesn't go on easily. There is so little wear, its too bad it just sat around. Its going to be good for her. |

Update on the Merkcx AXM build...Campy carbon record 10 on the way (carb rec comp crank), IRD bar, Deda Einstien stem, Bontrager XXX wheels (pulling off the stickers) red/white toupe. If it all comes in today I'll be on it tomorow. =)
