I guess that you're assuming that I wasn't stoned and could tell whether or not he was stoned.

I met him a couple of times and borrowed his recently repaired CX bike (he had broken his collarbone when he crashed it) to do my one and only CX race in upstate NY.
One clue for you might be whether or not the frame has one of those popular -- at the time -- "smoked" paint jobs.

The Yeti is done!!
Took it for a ride around the street for a little while to see how thing are.
I didn't weigh it, But it feels lighter than the Tracer, which would put it at 27 lbs or less!
Not bad for a 5.75" travel Mtb....
The Wheels are really light, and seem to be very stiff. But we know a good trip on some
downhill will let me know!
The LBS put on a XTR Shadow RD, which gives me some Carbon Bling. ( didn't expect that!)
Boy I hope it doesn't rain this weekend, I really want to try it out!
Pleasantly surprised, and excited like a little boy....

Volty, you've known this was coming for a while
I just bought the frame set, bars and controls, the rest will be built up with Dura Ace. I think I'm going to wait a month or so before blowing a wad on wheels. I might have to go out to the Toms Farms TT this Sunday, and give a try. I really like the newer 08 paint scheme better than this, but I have less patience than my 6 year old.

Ultegra Sl with a Dura Ace rear derailer. I have a Dura Ace group on the Look that Im selling(frame and fork) so I may swap some of this and I may not. I will use the Fulcrum wheels for training wheels and my Eastons for race day.
I actually have 3 bikes currently for sale.

Sean, Sean, Sean. What are we going to do with you? Time for an Intervention. We have enrolled you in the 12 Step Program for Hopeless Blingaholics.
We begin:
1. We admitted we were powerless over bicycle bling, that our lives had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves (specifically ProBikeKit.com) could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our credit cards and our lives over to the care of our LBS
4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our gear.
5. Admitted to Foo, to ourselves, and to our accountant the depths of our OCP sickness.
6. Were entirely ready to have our local wrench remove all heavy bits and install slightly lighter bits..
7. Humbly asked for the strength to flip it..
8. Made a list of all Freds we had upstaged, and became willing to do it again.
9. Dropped such people wherever possible, except when to do so would interfere with posing time.
10. Continued to take a personal gear inventory and add to it incessantly.
11. Sought through websurfing, BF, RBR and shopping to improve consciousness of all commercially available bike bling, praying only a few weeks of bragging rights before cooler stuff comes out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to browbeat and ridicule others into being the same as us.
