Love Uphill Grind...did that one last night. We've got a number of the Spinervals (plus one Runervals for our treadmill workout). Nice stuff for rainy days.

Arundel side loader bottle cage (for seat tube), and a regular Arundel bottle cage for the downtube (only to match the look). Felt quite bad wasting $$ on a plastic bottle cage though. Small frame + sloping top tube => bad for bottles.

Trek cap for $2, and a Trek 66 cycling tips CD for $1. The latter will hopefully teach me better braking skills and not overrun intersections.

BTW, San Diego Trek superstores (at least the Vista one) have quite a few bikes on sale. Even the new Madone's. I think it's around $200 off or something like that. They also have a sale on a lot of Nike cycling jerseys, shorts/bibs and jackets. The discounts are nowhere near Canari warehouse style though.

Picked off a pair of PI AmFib mountain shoe covers today. They aren't the most attractive 'cause they got these dimples in them, like a golf ball. Hope they make me faster....ha! ha! Was doing all this online shopping and endless comparing of brands and types and finally just went to the LBS and grabbed these 'cause I just want something I can ride with tomorrow! Heck with fashion if they keep my feet warm!

Did I forget to mention that I was cruising on of these fine machines today? Why do you think I placed the order for the second one. Never felt so good, and I visited 5 shops today trying different bikes.
