Anyone catch the sunset tonight? It was hard to miss with the crisp clear skies due to the winds. I took this shot through my bedroom window just moment ago. I know, I should have used a tripod and not shoot through filthy glass....:p
I live just west of downtown and this shot is looking towards Mid-Wilshire, Century City further down, and Santa Monica in the distant.

Thanx Luwin, but those pics you posted a few weeks ago you took around the Santa Fe Dam recreation area were very inspiring, and showed real artistry. BTW, that's one cute little toddler there.

The third one down is a hellebore, or helleborus. Very pretty.

The fourth one reminds me of a morning glory but this looks like it has too many petals.

Is the fruit a blemished nectarine?

The second one is not a "fruit" of any kind although it is sometimes referred to as an apple.

The bottom is not actually a nature plant but come spring will be out on most trails. A famous artist liked to paint them.
