I am wayyyyyy back in 241st with a time of 7:26

If I had not been sick for the two weeks prior, I bet I could have done the ride in less than 7 hours.
I guess I will have to next year.

I wonder how old the youngest finisher of the ride was, maybe it's me!(16)

There was a 13 year old kid who finished with his dad(?) on a tandem, does that count?

Among solo finishers, yes, this year you seem to be the youngest. The second youngest that I see is 21. Last year there was a 15-year old kid among the finishers.

I finished way back in 318th place, right at 8 Hours. For some reason they didn't list my city (Whittier), my age (62) or my club (OCRR). They did get the Workers Ride part right!

I'll send an email to Chuck so maybe he'll put that missing stuff back in.

Last year I got a 8:38 and this year was a 8:09 I really wanted to get under 8 so I guess that is next year but I wont be riding all three next year for sure. My legs are plenty strong I just need to loose some more weight.

I think that really counts. I know for experience how hard is to do the ride on a tandem

Chris, you got a penalty!?
Thanks for pointing it out jmX. Not sure how that could have happened. I was very careful to check in at every station, including back at the start line. I emailed Chuck my Garmin Stats and he said my time will go back to 6:19. Not enough to crack the top 100, but this was my first year, and that toad-like stoplight vigilante cost me more than two minutes. Next year I plan on being considerably lighter, and proceeding through the red light when it is clearly safe to do so after coming to a complete stop, IAW CVC 21800(d)(1).

I selected the intervals by hand but its not hard to do. The ride graph page lets you zoom in so you can see where the breaks are to select the intervals, and they're displayed in the chart. If I'd hit the computer lap button then the intervals would have been automatic and all I'd have to do would be to delete the non climbing sections and rename the climbs from "interval #2" or whatever. You can change what's displayed in the chart. WKO does intervals roughly the same way but I don't know if you can change what's in its summary chart.

This is GC 3.0 but 2.x works the same. It's worth checking out.

Question for you all, my right outside tendon behind my right knee has been sore all week. Especially Monday and today. It is very difficult to go up stairs and even turn in bed. Usually by the end of the day it is fine but every morning it comes back. Is this from lack of stretching? I didnt have this on MC at all.

Did you loosen it up after the ride? Foam roller can definitely help. (Usually this is more in line due to IT Band or other muscles in thigh that pulls additional stress on knee joint)
Another possibility is if you made any change on your bike. Seat, cleat, etc. I've been using wobble board as of late and not much of foam rolling (instead working on result, working on cause) which has been effective.

Nothing has changed in my position or equipment for a long time. I will try a roller and stretch more often. My co worker also suggested the IT band.

+1 on the foam roller. Absolutely made a difference for me too.

This year's BA was written up in the OC Register.

https://www.ocregister.com/articles/r...ar-record.html

Article states that over 600 people started the ride, but no exact figure given.

Have the breathless agony event photos been posted yet? If not, I wonder when?
