Does anyone local to the Austin area have a good ride recommendation for March? A few of my fellow cyclists friends and I need to get out of Dallas for a weekend. I've done some searching but haven't zeroed in on any reviews for the organized rides. Thank you!

What sort of rides do you want?
The Austin Cycling Association runs several group rides each weekend, listed at https://www.austincycling.org/. Most of their rides are of the faster variety, with everybody on road bikes, most wearing spandex, etc., though some of the hosted rides are slower.
There's a pretty good sized group of people who participate in the more social rides, which tend to be slower, very little spandex, all sorts of bikes, often people stop to eat or drink, etc. You can learn more about these rides at these places --
https://www.atxbs.com/

(These are the rides that I'm most familiar with.)
There's mountain bike groups who go out for MTB rides as well. I've never ridden with these folks, but one of the web sites they run is at
https://www.austinridgeriders.com/
And there are several other groups that do rides around town. This site --
https://austinontwowheels.org/cycling-events-calendar/
attempts to keep a calendar of all the events, but they miss quite a few of them (probably just because there's so many to keep track of.)
But ultimately ... it depends on what sort of ride you're looking for.

Thanks Doug, good point. I should have been a little more specific. My friends and I are actually fairly experienced roadies (MS150 and HHH regulars), we just haven't done many rides in Austin besides the Livestrong. We don't need anything crazy, just a nice 40-60 mile route to welcome us back to the saddles after a nasty DFW winter. Thank you for the links, I'll check them out.

Ahh, then go for the ACA rides -- they've got four every weekend that should be good for you, plus some more at various times during the week that may be.
You don't have to be a member or anything like that.
