Nice. What is the gearing? And, rear derailer? Is there an extender like the wolftooth adaptor can it stock handle that range.
But maybe BELLE Cycles positioned the derailleur change a bit lower? I will ask him, he knew that we will use a 46 cassette, also he build several bikes before this one with the same setup. Front ring is a 38. Best S. |

This is an animal crossing bridge, one of several along the Bow Valley Corridor. Banff, AB.
They have fencing along the hwy which has really reduced roadkill and these crossings every so often so the animals can still pass over. http://i.imgur.com/5WUBPOxh.jpg |
very cool. Was just told by a family member that they have these in Scandinavia. Neat idea.

This summer on three rocky mt. trips I saw moose, big horn sheep, mountain goats, deer, a fox, a black bear and a wolf (first one!). |
Re last sentence, neat--as long as not too close !

Grey and white like a Siberian Husky but much larger, like an Irish Wolfhound, but more gaunt and lanky. All my life outdoors in Western Canada and that was the first one :) |
Crossing the Mississippi River on Centennial Bridge in Davenport. You can see the minor league ballpark in lower left corner. This is the last season for the Class A River Bandits. They were taking infield as I rode by last Friday afternoon.

Oregon-- Old Mckenzie Pass, an Oregon State Scenic Bikeway.
This photo is a little misleading. My wife only rode up this "road" a couple of hundred feet to take a picture. I was standing on a paved road when I took it. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...78f7b93c_b.jpg |
Somewhere between Cumberland, MD, and Bedford, PA.

That is one tough little pine tree growing on that lava rock.

You are correct. Those are the Three Sisters in the background. We rode up there before ODOT opened the pass to motor vehicle traffic. It sure makes the descent more fun:) Are you an Oregonian?
|
Doug, it's always neat and impressive isn't it when we see trees growing out of what appears to be impossible conditions?
Happy Canadian thanksgiving btw. Muted this year as we unfortunately have been having rising covid cases so back to some restrictions for a while. |

Dang, str , but do you ever ride to a crappy-looking spot? :foo: :p
Love the photos you do. Great landscapes, old architecture, interesting people. |

One of the things I most like about traveling. Getting to see how people live life, how wildlife copes, how different places can be ... yet how similar. |
