Riding for Comfort Women - LA to NY

Riding for Comfort Women - LA to NY

Hi we are two college student from South Korea. We are planning riding events this summer for Human Rights, especially for so called 'comfort women', Japanese military sexual slavery during WW2 from more than 12 countries. Even though WW2 ended several decades ago, Japanese government still denying, distorting their fast wrongdoing and not apologize to victims. Therefore, we will ride for human dignity and human rights

I posted our schedule below. We want you to be with us as a person or as a group. Distance does not matter whether short or long. We will give small gift to participants who accompany with us. You can go free of fall free. If you are available to participate certain place and time, feel free to contact us. Just because you join us does not mean that you participate in any kind of social movement. Please contact me by message or email -- jyjnature@naver.com (link sends e-mail) --

6/23 ~ 7/5 LA to Albuquerque (1300km)
7/7 ~ 7/15 Albuquerque to Oklahoma (930km)
July-August
7/17 ~ 7/22 Oklahoma to Kansas City (620km)
7/23 ~ 7/27 Kansas City to ST Louis (470km)
7/28 ~ 8/1 ST Louis to Chicago (500km)
August-September
8/6 ~ 8/14 Chicago to Pittsburgh (800km)
8/16 ~ 8/21 Pittsburgh to Washington D.C (520km)
8/26 ~ 8/28 Washington DC to Philadelphia (250km)
8/31 ~ 9/1 Philadelphia to New York (160km)

and in the US, why not add internment camp locations, to your tour, they Imprisoned any one Japanese,
being culturally unable to tell the difference, I assume they put Koreans in there too..

You bringing a Power point lecture to each town?

Thank you for quote. This problem is World Human Rights problem and not just disputes between Korea and Japan. There is no nation as influential as the States.

followed by hot winds plus tornado alley followed by presumably brutal heat and humidity in the final third...

Good luck and I really hope you folks know how to handle heat fatigue.

I guess I'd second @saddlesores (and without getting into the politics of the matter): what do you hope to accomplish with this in America?

It is not as if the issue is unknown here, NPR even ran a piece on it this morning. With so many issues affecting people all over the world, who are still suffering today, what sort of support/solution do you hope to drum up for people who were affected 70+ years ago?

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what doing that in the US is supposed to accomplish. It'd be a better idea to try getting the Japanese public on OP's side.

That said, I hope they have fun.
