Somewhere along the "P'tit train du nord" trail. I'm guessing it's a few miles south of Val-David (Québec), but I'm not 100% sure.

I don't know if this is my favorite, but it's handy. It was the first photo that I took on the first morning of camp on my '06 tour. When you crawl out of the tent on that first morning of a tour and it looks this great, you get that indescribable feeling that you're in for an amazing journey! Taken near Oakdale, California.
Safe journeys,
Ted

Favorite? Hmmm, too many to decide from. Here's one of my wife taken on our 2007 Alaska tour.
Here's our Alaska Tour Journal where there are many more images from that trip.
Tailwinds,

kind of late to the party......
my favorite"bike touring at camp" picture in the last couple of years. I'd have to go thru my road shots for a good action photo, but Vik's first photo of his campsite made me want to post this one from a June bike/ski tour into the Central Cascades...

Looks like wood burning stove in a tee pee style tent...so the chimney is coming out the top with smoke and burning ash.

Henke - thank you. For the record, it was taken last month a little South of Marble Falls, Texas. Visibility was actually a bit better at the time the photo was taken than it had been earlier.

This photo is taken of my wife while we were riding up the Furka Pass in the Swiss Alps. It was pouring with rain and we were were riding alongside a 25ft wall of snow wondering if it was going to come crashing down. The climb took about 3 hours but other than the rain was great fun.
