Yup...this is winter

It's 10C and raining. Time to go mow the lawn before I put up Christmas lights.

Bikes: various strays, mongrels, and old junk.

You have my deepest sympathy. Truly. Look - no smiley.

Yeah for sure, weather has been crazy lately. It's more like spring or fall then winter. I guess we're not getting polar vortex like we did last year. I remember last year at this time everything was covered with ice.

Meanwhile, this morning, in Sault Ste. Marie ...

Been hovering around 32F/0C all day ... but at least the predicted rain was a no show. Nothing but big wet fluffies.

For the last 17 years I've been whining about the winters here in WI, about the snow and being stuck indoors for 4 months.

So this year I went out and bought a Fat Bike. Then what happens?...it fricken rains....and rains...and rains..

I should've bought a kayak.

I feel your pain. Well, sort of. I bought new tires this winter and haven't had a chance to use them.

Yes...I, too, got new tires, and used them for about a week back in November.

Winter is coming, though! I am doing my snow dance.

And here I thought it was my fault that the weather was so warm -- I bought new studded snows this year. But it looks like others can share in the blame...
