[h=2]Peugeot - Richard Virenque 5000 - $100 (Quincy)[/h]

Date: 2012-12-07, 3:53PM EST
5psz7-3462585896@sale.craigslist.org[SUP][?][/SUP]

Peugeot - Richard Virenque 5000 bike frame and fork for sale
Looks to be around a 55cm frame, bought the frame with intention of building it up as a winter beater, but have run out of time.
Could not find much information on the bike. I can tell you the rear brake cable runs internally. The frame is made from Reynolds Cro-Mo.
The bike will come with everything in pictures. That includes Shimano exage Brake calipers, Front and Rear Derailers. Fork and cranks. Seat post and seat.
please leave number.

Here's an all-chrome Raleigh Sports (I think) marked "Polaris" sticker if anyone is interested, at the moment I cannot under any circumstances acquire more bikes, otherwise I'd be trying to talk the seller down myself...

If this is legit, it's already gone, but what the heck...

Serotta Colorado Tri Bike Triathlon Bicycle - $210 (Miramar, FL)

Thanks for looking.

I'm selling my tri-bike which I've owned for a few years and bought from a pro.
THIS BIKE IS FOR A TALL PERSON!
I'm 6'3 with 34in inseam and I barely reach the bars fit when in the aero position. 24IN from crank to up tube end. Long reach to the bars.

I did a few sprints but have been away from triathlons, and have been using my beach cruiser a lot with my dauther, so my loss is your gain.
Needs nothing. Just get on it and go.
New tires, trued rims, good brakes, and gears. Tri-bars, dual bottle cages.
Please contact me with via craigslist e-mail if interested.
No scams. No money orders, no checks, no viagra, no Nigerian bank accounts.
Thanks

In LA---Miami Vice Ironman alert!
This one is my size, and looks well preserved, price is not bad in today's market. Also the ad makes me think the seller is someone I would see eye to eye with. But I'm not going for it so someone else should...

kkxm3-3462585076@sale.craigslist.org[SUP][?][/SUP]

This bike is very cool and the color of macaroni and fuschia. It's in near perfect condition just might need to be tuned up a bit because it has served the last 2-3 years as the thing that gets in the way of me and my bookshelf and has done very little moving. Shimano 105 components. I think it's 52cm. It might be 51. I'm just shy of 5'7" though and it fits me. Email if you want more info. I will take more pictures for you if you actually want to buy it. If I have to. But do you really need more? There are 7. Calm down. It's fine. Also note that I don't mind if you send me some cheap ass low ball offers because then I can take some of the day's frustrations out on you.

Their smaller bike had 24" for some toe room, but I see your avatar holds out for a bit larger...

Not for a Terry. Georgina Terry specialized in frame designs for women. By using a smaller front wheel, she was able to build frames with lower standover height without severe toeclip/front wheel overlap or need for weird drivetrain components.

Jacksons are nice bikes, but they're not particularly rare. This one looks like most of its good parts have already been stripped off and replaced with mediocre stuff. if you want buy it, set your price based on only the frame being worth keeping.

Gaspipe junk. $20 if you're desperate to get a beater you can leave parked outside.

Big time +1. It's a nice fame, but I think Bob Jacksons are generally under valued. His estimates on frame value are delusional and I think he might need a few weeks of sitting on this to come down to earth. Also, comparing CL to eBay is meaningless - if he wants eBay money, sell it on eBay. Tampa was a crappy city for cycling when I lived there, so I'd assume the market is low.
