25 miles in 23°F (with a wind chill/"RealFeelŪ" of 17°F). Felt like pedaling under water...I have to keep reminding myself that cold air is denser & hence partly responsible for my winter suckage.

Tell me again why I still live in the northeast?

One hour Z3 hill climb, 2250' gained, 1.5 hours total. It felt like work today, my legs never opened up and my HR agreed.

21 miles doing errands on the "back up bent", (EZ-1 SX), stopped at the LBS to have the rear brake adjustment looked at. The UPS truck showed up and my "EZ-Sport AX (20/26 wheel combo) bent arrived"!!!! Now just gota wait to get it assembled!

Did ~23 miles big ring hammer this morning. Wife had begged me to take her out riding and "kick my ass" (her words verbatim), but after we hit the road she changed her mind. So I kicked my own ass.

You mean all the up and down speeds from miles 5 to 20? Do you have a speed sensor or is it using the GPS data? My uneducated guess is some kind of technical malfunction. I'd ask on the garmin forum or email tech support.

Bingo!!!

I got a flat within a 50 feet of the bus stop, and was on my way to my LBS to get some gear changes made so rather than be late for my appointment... If the truth were known don't think i saved all that much time with the bus. At one stop the loud speaker came on and said "this bus is ahead of schedule and will stay here till it gets back on time" Anyway I hope will try out the new gears on Usery Pass tomorrow and see if I can make it any easer.

Not so far, I'm waiting for the "ice on the roads to melt" so I can catch a BUS to go to the LBS to "FINALLY" pick up my new recumbent and at least "ride" it home to put the accessories on it, arrrrrrugh!

Yea, I did. Got the new cassette, 12x36, if you can believe that. It did help doing Usery Pass today, and I used all the gears to, when the grade was 5% and over. I have the Tour de Phoenix coming up in 4 weeks and the extra gears will help me till I can get my HR to rev up.

Got in 5 miles yesterday evening before it poured down rain and then, overnight, turned to several inches of snow. Luckily, the roads are now clear and it is to be warmer over the weekend.

2 hours Z2-3 this afternoon. Temps in the low 60s and I rode in shorts for the first time this year. I had 27 miles and 2400' of climbing but it was basically up 13.5 miles then back down.

I rode a metric century in Cochran, GA, about an hour drive from here through somewhat flat farmland. It was a little cool at the start, about 48F and warmed up to 68 by the end on this bright, sunny day. I rode alone much of the way as I was in the gap between the fast riders and the slow ones. I did see several people at each rest stop, though. I'm loving the Roubaix.
I forgot to restart the Garmin after the last rest stop until a few miles down the road, so the mileage shown is 3 or 4 miles short.

40+ miles on the tandem. First ride in a week due to weather and it wasn't pretty. Took 10+ miles for my legs to feel even half-decent. We'll have to get more regular leading up to the Solvang Century in two weeks.

43 miles out West of Alvin today. Spotted 10 Wheels heading East on W. South street in Alvin with a couple of other riders, but they had just passed though the intersection prior to us getting there so we couldn't say hello.
