Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have to say meh....not really HOT nor NOT.....

Midget bikes with huge slopping tubes like that remind me of a kids bike. Also reminds me of a doctor/lawyer bike.

I think they are Lightning Cranks, but idk. Solo definitely has a 9/9.5 bike. All I would change about it is some deeper wheels, and delete the red.

I am pretty sure he is Asian. Be nice. I personally like the smaller size S5s a lot better than the bigger ones. It needs a 606 wheelset, and it would be sweet.

Yeah, the larger S5s look (if possible) uglier.

Very Hot = 9.5. Best bike in a while. That rig looks like it's made to ride fast and gap a pack of riders. I like the red and blue stripping, and the Fizik saddle goes well with the scheme. The Fizik bar tape shows good attention to detail (imo).

Well, I'm sorry that my genes have enslaved me to ride a kids bike. Then again, I think I would be considered a kid around here (not hard to figure out how old I am by my username).

Don't knock the "Dr. or lawyer" bikes as you call them. People who are willing to pay big dollars for a bike allow me to get what I need. Sort of like trickle down bike economics. :-)

Thanks!

So you don't like the newer pic with the Lightning removed, and the Beyond Black wheel decals? As for the stem, I just special ordered this:

to complement this:

Sorry the stem isn't carbon, but carbon stems worry me a bit.

I have tomorrow off. I'll take a pic then. I leave for work when the sun is just coming up, and when I come home it is dark out. I need a new job so I can ride in the winter more.

For me there are very few bikes in this thread above a 9, and a 10 is pretty much unobtainable. I'd give SA's Cervelo a solid 8-8.5 though.

I thought you were a stickler for the photo rules.

The valve stems are not properly positioned.

I suggested it a couple pages back. I didn't think it would stick but it seems to be making a little headway.

8.3 worth of hot. Red tape and red seat or black tape with black seat would push it to 9.6

Nah, the red tape and seat would be too much. I think due to the frame being two coloured like this, looks better with a black saddle and white bar tape.

Like any modern bike, it needs deeper wheels!

Red bar and tape, agreed, with that with the wheels would be too much. Black and black would be preferable, imh though always right o , to the mix.

For me, that Look would have a hard time getting any better. It's a 9.0 for aesthetics.
