Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That Alize is threatening to awaken my bike lust that's been dormant for the better part of a year.

Thanks guys. Rode it to work today so I wouldn't look like a total noob on the team ride. It's bad.

Hot. I don't actually like the red bottle cages or housing, but all the other tiny matchy bits are nice

Pardee Z5 hot, red bits okay but nearly too much. Everything's better with carbon wheels.

I'm a big parlee fan, but I'd say the red bits are too much. I'd definitely change the bottle cages, lose the valve stem caps, and go to black pedals. I hate that 3T seatpost from a functional standpoint. I've got one in my garage and literally can't give the thing away. The newer 3T stems are a lot better. All this being said, if you like it, it's hot.

It's an Extreme Power. Whhels are custom built for me by www.wheelsmith.co.uk PMP Hubs, Gigantex Rims and CX Ray spokes. They are fantastic!

Colnago hot. Repost of modified hot bikes should be encouraged IMHO.

Hot Colnago, though I don't care for the red on the saddle and the green electric tape on your bars don't match the green on the bike.

I agree with gc3. I'd rather see a hot bike reposted after every single upgrade than one that obviously doesn't fit the thread. I like to look through this thread and get excited about other "works of art". I hate having to filter through 5-6 pages of mediocrity or worse.

In fact, I'd like to see some of the bikes from the past that were an obvious hot in their current state. Small upgrades or big upgrades, it's always nice to look at some hot bikes.

Agree, I'm going to ditch the coloured tape (the other side is red!, the green has faded a lot.) Just going to go black. Then I can post another pic

Ditch those bottle cages for carbon and it is smokin' hot! The red cages are just a little too much. All the other red bits work for me. Overall, it looks like a very well thought out weight weenie build. How light?

Gorgeous bike. To be fully hot as per the rules of Hot or Not, it needs a slammed stem and better staging. Love it!
