The one pictured is the tactical canister capable of spraying 18 feet which I carry when I ride solo. When I ride with a group I carry the smaller runners canister capable of spraying 12 feet. The straps and holsters go in the garbage and the canisters go in my right side jersey pocket. Some of my jerseys have a fourth side pocket for gels and that is a super convenient place.

By the way, it is very good to see your screen name and avatar again. I hope you are well, at peace and enjoying your Element. Pray for me.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the link. I've only had ONE close encounter with a dog, but it was alarming and it would probably be a good idea to have something like this handy.

I'm back riding after the broken arm and then a move across town which had me semi-sedentary for a few months. Got a few pounds to lose, but the bike will help take care of that!

Not road related.
A set of Rockshox Recon TK Air 100 forks for the mtn bike.

Next will be a new wheel set for the dirt beast.

Enjoy! I have the rim brake version of the 44s on my TT bike and love them. They're a huge step up over the stock wheels that came with it.

I have them with 32mm tires on my CX bike. They're very robust and handle less than optimal road surfaces.

Finally found a pair of shoes that actually fit my gunboats (and can take speedplay cleats without an adapter).

Now that I have connectivity, I can at least post about it. I can't build it up just yet due to a lack of available funds, but I'll prob end up going with a Shimano mech group and DA wheelset. I just need to keep a close eye on takeoffs or sales. I suppose I should just hide it in the basement where she hardly treads. Once I build it up, I'll sell the old 2001/2002 Roubaix that sits on the trainer and nobody will be the wiser. Don't judge....just be happy for me. ;) I'm getting ready to start the process of adopting a child so my buying days will soon be over.

Adding a pic:

After riding a bunch of frames throughout the years, I still think the SLR01 has the right balance between a racing bike and comfort. I wish I had money to get one right now. I sold mine because it was a size too big for me :( Loved it when I had it though.

Chainreaction Cycles? I think that's what I paid for the exact same Bell Sweep.

Jagwire makes a set of wedges for setting toe in.

simple o-rings work for me, YMMV.

This is a great tool for getting your brake pads "toed-in" and perfectly aligned very quickly.
Good for all types of rim brakes and works on wheels with up to 36 spokes and rims up to 40mm wide.
I use to use pennies as shims for toe-in and that worked "OK" but this also sets the horizontal alignment as well.
On sale for $15 from PBK. It's a good thing!
If you jump to 2:00 of this video you can see how easy it is to use.

cool tool, but o-rings accomplish the same thing.

Yes, o-rings or any type of shim will help set toe-in, just not as quickly or precisely (or greatly assist in horizontal alignment). YRMV.

I bought a Castelli Gabba 2 a month ago and I loved it. I thought of getting a new winter jacket as well:

These two Dahons:

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...pseuwn7a8s.jpg

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psjgr7wq57.jpg

i intend to use the Vybe D7 to chase and circle around my wife as she rides her trike. Other than that, I normally use it as if it were a single-speed in top gear.

The Speed8 quickly became my favorite bike, to the point where I almost stopped riding my full-size Treks altogether! This thing is incredibly fast for a 20-incher, extremely maneuverable, albeit sometimes annoyingly hard-riding given its short spokes and high-pressure Schwalbe Marathon Supremes.

A road helmet to replace an identical one that broke my fall in July (long-ish, stupid-ish story that I'm still uncomfortable talking about):

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps06edxmyr.jpg

And a couple of 20x1-3/8 tires and tubes that aren't too dried out to be useful and easily mountable on the Feida's rims:

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...pscxbvlabw.jpg

Actually, I was lucky enough to find a couple of 22x1-3/8 tubes that had Schrader valves, which are far easier to install than the hard-to-source-locally 20x1-3/8s with their Woods valves (which don't allow pressure readings!)

From Amazon:

Bike Hand tool kit:

https://images.ttcdn.co/media/i/prod....jpg?size=1000

I wanted to get something better than this, but this was the only tool kit that Amazon would ship over to Saudi Arabia, along with this Bike Hand repair stand:

http://www.topbestproductreviews.com...L._SL1500_.jpg

Then there were a few odds and ends, such as tubes, patches, cheap hub axles for the Feida and the Phoenix... etc.

My kid and I have both bought into modern lugged steel framesets. Quite different frames, but we will be build them up pretty similar, yet looking very different when finished.
Collecting mostly Campy parts for each, with near matching drivetrain & wheels...
My frame is a Tipo Corsa (I've wanted a celeste bike forever) & his is a Gran Criterium (in red). Should be a very fun buildup with my 23 yr old son. :thumb:
