I carry a first aid kit in mine & keep tools, tubes, etc in a saddle bag. Water bottle or Gatorade in the second cage. For longer rides I've found if I don't use a Camelbak I won't drink enough.

My bike's serial number ends with a G. As far as I can tell mine has post mounts for the brakes instead of IS. LBS should've been able to discern the difference before holding it for six weeks.

I've found in hotter temps I'll go through over a liter of water per hour while riding. I use a 100oz Camelbak and I'll drain it on any ride over two hours. I've never been a fan of water bottles....
