Mine came with a 15t cog as well, but I'm currently running a 17t freewheel.

The tires on mine (ordered last week) were 23s, while on the BikesDirect website still says 28. Probably just a running change that's happening...

^ According to the Fuji site my Track08 was supposed to come with 23s, but it came with 28s instead. To be honest though i think that was a good thing considering how and where i ride the bike.

I ordered my Michelins at 28 trying to stay true with what came on the bike originally plus I am a bigger biker, & I admit I like them a lot. But I actually had to file down my rear brake stay a bit so the tire would spin. Plus my chain is super tight. The tire still rubs a bit but it rolls. I'll have to figure a fix for this short of ordering 25s.

Did the person who hit you pay for the damage?

Sucks. At least you're rolling again. Your ride is tight.

I've been out of the game for a while but what's the deal with different front & back rims/tires/wheels? When I registered on velospace they ask what front wheel you're running, then what back wheel & I was lost.

My first test ride after 10 years was the Fuji Track 08 which is why I was able to pull the trigger on the Hour so fast. Post pics of your rig! They're practically brothers

Well I had matching wheels until I got hit.

Then I realized that it would look cool w/ a white front wheel to match the tire...So yeah...

cool straps, what's up w/ your chainring though? Isn't it supposed to be installed opposite side?

Also, what kind of stem is that? I need it.

lol I think he was referring to the other side of the crank not the other side of the bike.

Less than 4 weeks in and my BB is creaking and groaning like a haunted house
I found out where the creak/clicking was coming from. Turns out my pedals weren't as tight as they could be. Tightened them up & noises are gone!

Maybe that's why BD says to tighten pedals after riding

My creaking was the allen holding the crank arms on was coming loose. I mashed a hill here and when I came down it was physically moving left and right instead of just reciprocating. Tightened it up and the creaking has greatly stopped.
