Should be sweet! Looking forward to seeing it built.

FWIW: if you grab a deal on a Sektor Solo Air, then pop for one of the nicer Rev dampers, you basically get a Rev Solo Air for way less than normal. Ride the crap outa the Sektor as is, then pop for the damper when you can. I upgraded mine recently for under $100.

Or if you want a beefier fork, an ebay deal on someone selling an OEM Lyrik Solo Air with the Moco damper vs. Mico could be a nice match. The RS air forks are sweet riding, and very easy to tune, and alter travel with. Same deal with the damper - ride as is and upgrade later if you feel it's needed.
So can you find out your friends i2i and stroke that's working for him? I don't suppose you'd want to change the length too much b/c it would kill the 13.5BBh. Start banging crank arms on stuff.

I'm going to build it with the PIKE initially until I can regroup. I may be able to get enough out of what I've got to fund a Sektor and a damper. Dunno. Christmas is coming as well. I usually get a small wad to put toward bike stuff. Rolling it out at 130mm sounds kinda fun actually. I was doing that with the Parker and really liked it barring the extra weight and short ST. It was 100mm rear and I was setting my fork at 120. I think a Lyrik "sounds" nice, but it probably not necessary given the advances in 32mm platform. The pike has handled alot and still works pretty well. The only reason I would be switching to the Lyrik or RVL would be to save over a lbs of dead weight.
