Thanks Doug. I'll stick with 7" though. I got one on the way from the same seller that pimped me the fork. I thought about dropping back down to 5"r/6"f b/c of where I live, but...wha?! Naw!

Just do this: right out of the box, check your oil levels. Make sure you've got enough in the damper side, and the lowers for splash bath.

I've had a few RS forks come with too little oil, and ride like poo until figuring out the problem.

Down the road, pop for one of the newer/nicer dampers. They aren't crazy expensive, and you'll end up with basically a Rev Solo Air for way less cash. Just recently did this to my Sektor, and it's a world of improvement.
As far as dampers...it comes with:

Damping-Motion Control
External Rebound / Low Speed Compression to Lock, Spring via Air Pressure

So do I want:
Motion Control DNA RCT3
External rebound, low speed compression, 3 position compression (open/platform/lock),

That's only a hundred bucks?
