So I finally installed some parts from Christmas and my Birthday, LOL!

XT Cassette, PC971 chain, Blackspire 32t singlespeed THICKTHICKTHICK chainring, Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35 meats, Buzzy's Slick Honey, and some new Stans.

The initial build was 29#6oz with the Sektor.
Changed to an EA70 bar and RAgley stem combo with a Giant rigid seatpost and Fizik saddle. 29#10oz.

After the new tires, cassette, chain, etc...28#10oz.


I'm happy. Basically lost a full pound of rotating weight over the Excavator UST tires. Also gained some volume as the Hans Dampf is a larger casing for a 2.35. (Bonus!!) I think I'm going to like the tires a lot.

The Buzzy's Slick Honey is probably going to cure my stiction woes. This stuff is amazing! I also put a dollup of grease in the air chamber to help with bottom-out control.




Stoked to get out to the trail.
