They're around. They suck. Is what it is, if there weren't jerks I'd spend all my time hating on trigeeks and that gets old after a while.

It's pretty much accepted among Masters racers that our cohort is where the larger amount of doping is occurring.

Yea - A LUX junior, Sean, went and beat Phil's 55:40 by :30 or so. Today Daniel is home for Spring break and took another min off from Phil's time (we thought) with a 54:13. A bit of a surprise to upload and see there is a legit (no fake KOM) 51:21 something by Phil now. We'll have to wait till summer for the battles to resume. 51:21 will be hard to beat.

why wasn't the dude given a long ban before hand? he's the one who tattooed his entire head, right?

I had someone (that used to race in NorCal) telling me how great of a dude Kayle was. I don't know the scene that well, but I had heard the name before. A quick google told me he wasn't really that upstanding of a citizen or a bike racer. **** dopers. Especially masters level dopers. Making us all look back from the bottom to the top.

Also, I just realized I didn't like surf city on FB despite following Charon and others from that area. Now I can't find the page. Has it been disabled? I found the link through google, but it says page not found..

It would be really funny if someone hacked the team's FB page and posted that and it wasn't true.
But I like this reality better; finally busted!!!

Re Leogrande ... apparently not only was that post taken down but the team's entire FB page was disabled. And nothing on USADA either. So maybe something weird(er) is going on.
Really though a positive test should be a lifetime ban. Who would be against that?

Maybe it was that way before, but it's interesting to me.

My guess is his A sample is positive, he told his team yesterday, they punted him and noted it on FB. If that's he case, he likely asked to have his B sample analyzed and while that limbo period plays out, his team pulled their FB action due to potential defamation litigation.
