1) Team name Team Emery's / Lifecyclists
2) State/Region Milwaukee, Wisconsin
3) Big races your team plans to do. SuperWeek, Giro d' Grafton, Wisconsin Cup Series
4) Your goals as part of your new team this year. Just getting my start at racing this year, so just to experience racing and have fun

Don't know anything about Charlottesville other than that my parents got engaged there (random). Isn't it kinda a highway tract wasteland??
It's occurred to me that the Universities of Wisconsin, Virginia, Maryland, and Georgetown might have some sort of associate something or other status that could let me use some of their stuff as a husband of a student - Oxford, where I currently am, does do that. So might be able to ride with university teams, though I doubt I could race.

Best of all, you can ride out of C'ville over to Afton Mountain and on from there to and along the Blue Ridge Parkway and other great roads in the Blue Ridge. Good climbs and great scenery. If you want more information on the roads to use out of there, PM me and I'll get it to you.
Also, I'm sure that the Georgetown folks would let you ride with them, although you're correct that you couldn't race unless you were enrolled as a full-time student. That's where I went to school, and the more people representing the team the better, at least in my opinion. UNC, where I now work, is happy to have anyone affiliated with the university ride with them- students, faculty, staff, alums, etc.- so I'd imagine that as a close relation to someone affiliated, most folks would be fine with that.

I'm flattered
Hopefully the upcoming surgeries don't leave me an invalid so I can actually be worthwhile in a race!

late.
just found out that the team i was registered with in the US has more of less folded. not a huge surprise, considering that the sponsoring shop went bust over the summer. kind of a bummer.
so... if i want to keep my uscf license going, it's either go unattached, or look for a new team, that doesn't mind having a teammate that lives/races primarily in NL.
anyone looking for a teammate who possesses the unique ability of being able to tell people that they're correct or incorrect?

while i know plenty of folk on one club, i'm not enamored with their kit (even if it's for a good cause).
i'll most likely join another club, and be a virtually anonymous member.
the two reasons i'm going for the other club is 1. the kits are marginally better, and 2. a friend is joining, and we can have some fun/work some tactics together.

I am riding unattached. Doesn't make sense to join a team when I am leaving the area March 24. And then will be in a different area afterwards. Too much of an investment for team kit etc.
