I don't know you but i know teen age men...i am in the military in charge of guys like you complaining about everything they have all day, so although i might be a little off on you i know the sorts.

If you were truly over riding and competition you wouldn't have given us a disertation on how much your life sucks...you would have simply quit riding. You're looking for sympathy and you' ve come to the wrong place, like everyone has said, enjoy how EASY your life is right now, trust me..it gets allot harder.

Ah, do what?

Wait until you get older and have to come up against the ignorance of youth.

time for clarity

From a guy who knows him--

JS, you are being an ass hat! Get over YOURself. True, you have some skills, but not enough to go 2. Not for a long while. Posting this drivel just lends credit to my observation. W/out realizing it, you have just blacked ball yourself from finding a team around these parts. As to the poster who suggested Mesa...HA! You wish. That would require class, something that you do not posses. So you poached some upgrade points in some silly circus spring fling series. Whoopdie freakin' doo. Next time you see Mr. JP from bike shack, ask him how his introduction to cat 2 is working out. He has the talent, the mindset, AND the class to succeed in the "bigs", and he came into some hard knocks. The p/1/2 fields even in KS will chew you up and spit you out...you think you hate life now?! You have deep seated issues far more reaching than cycling. At this point, you should be using it as an escape, not a tomb. I have been where you are now, and further and let me tell you, it can be fun if you can get out of your own way.

So what you need to do is, stop diving corners. Think before you think, then think again. Stop racing for a while and STFU.

To the posters who wants his stuff. No you don't. Trust me.

...you can't see it, but I have a little tear in my eye and a grin from ear to ear. I don't know why.

Let's just say my faith in the BF has been restored.

As a random comment, bike racing has made me aware of the fact that there ARE actually normal, non-whining, well-adjusted teenage kids out there. It was quite a suprise. One pretty strong cat 3 (maybe 2 now) was very encouraging to me when I started. He crashed his brains out at a race a few weeks ago and handled it very well.

I dont' know where bike racing will take him but he'll go far in life.

This kid reminds me of what its like to be 17 again. I'm feeding off his energy. I would bash this kid but I'm pretty sure I was the same way when I was younger.

21 years old and still haven't grown up yet. I still tell "your mom" jokes and only answer to strangers with Napoleon Dynamite quotes.
