He got banned for that? I didn't read anything that was ban worthy.

Indeed, it was 62 yesterday morning when my group ride ended up being a father-daughter ride b/c most of the group didn't show. Wimpy Floridians.

I have to give props to my oldest daughter. She went to the ride expecting to spin around the block with peers but when I saw that they weren't there I sent the few members of my group who showed on w/o me and took her out for 27 miles.

I need to re-prioritize and do this more often.

Maybe she's still looking ...... so maybe you should too ......

I think there are match sites for athletes .... Fitness Singles or something like that.

Team cookout this afternoon.

Anyone like the Samuel Adams Octoberfest beer? I went for the DogFish Head Pumplin Ale but they didn't have any. I don't think his fall stock has been updated - didn't see much. But the SA beer is pretty good.

Agreed. Good beer, not unbelievable but very pleasant on the palate. Can't go too wrong.

To the old washed up 2. We should get together for a ride with bg! Your MA fall pictures are making me jealous!

Also, I'm buying a space heater on amazon today. My room is freezing and the windows are drafty. We need to reseal the windows like they did last winter. Anyone got a small heater they like to use?

I was in Munich for Oktoberfest in 2001..

my recollections are hazy but beer quantity was the principal motivator, not so much beer quality.

Tomorrow is a start for me to get back into a good groove with my diet. Things are going to only get tougher in the coming months with the holidays and this guy needs to stay in check.

I already pm'd the authorities to make my sentiments known. Apparently there's a backstory.

My advice: shake your head, and leave it at that.

Also, you should come out and ride on saturday. It's a homecoming thing for parent and alums, but you could just be a 'parent' of a frosh for all they care. It was a really nice group of people last year!

I really wish this site wouldn't pick some random time to decide that I've visited the site.

I go to bed at 12 AM or something, and then I go to my subscribed threads this morning, and nothing before about 6 AM is showing up. WTF. Now I have to go find anything I might be interested in that was replied to between midnight and 6 AM.

yeah, but the thing is, he wasn't even doing anything bad. I went and read the posts. There wasn't anything even close to ban-worthy there.

I didnt read any of it. My point is hes earned himelf a reputation. And im certainly not saying its deserved. Hes on the mod radar it seems.

I called a guy an idiot 3 times in one thread and never got so much as a dirty look.

Consistency is not a strong point here.
